God has more for you. So much more.

Whether I know you or not, I can confidently say this is true because He is the God of abundance.

Maybe you’re doubting and despairing. You find it hard to hold onto God’s promises because things have been so hard for so long. You’re not sure what you believe anymore. Your head and heart are spinning with questions and overwhelming emotions, and you think this is as good as it’s going to get. Why even try anymore? For you, God has more in store. He intends to lift you up from the pit you’re in. He’s not asking you to figure out the trajectory of your life or to understand the mess you’re in. He’s just asking you to lean into Him moment by moment and to seek Him for your next step. That’s it. Just one step at a time. And as you trust Him for each step, He will lead you into a place of blessing and thriving.

“Now all glory to God, who is able through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20 NLT

God has so much more for you.

Maybe you’re stuck and stagnant. You feel like you’re spinning your wheels and making no progress. You’re at a loss for words because you think you’re doing all the right things, but none of it seems to be making a difference. You’re scratching your head and trying to figure out what the problem is. Maybe there is a problem. Maybe you’re off course and need a course correction. Or it may be that you’re in alignment and harmony with God’s will and just need to exercise patience. Sometimes there is a much deeper work going on than we can see. The law of harvest is at work. When seeds are planted and the ground is cared for, it takes time to see growth. For you, God has more in mind. He wants you to reap good things. Ask Him if you’re on track, and He will be faithful to show you and to redirect you if need be. If it’s just a matter of time to see growth and good fruit, seek Him for the grace to wait and continue sowing faithfully. He is more invested in your growth and prospering than you are.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 NASB

“Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.” Galatians 6:9 NASB

God has so much more for you.

Maybe you’re comfortable and complacent. You believe you’re on God’s good path and can see how things are working out for your life, but if you’re honest, you’ve stopped stretching yourself. Yes, you’re serving God and making sacrifices, but it’s all predictable and fairly manageable, and there’s a part of you that knows you’re holding back in some way. You like the comfort and stability in your routines and the things you’re currently committed to, but there’s untapped potential within you and promises of God that you’ve yet to take hold of. For you, God has more to bless you with. He desires to show you more of His power and glory as you submit to His perfect path. He wants you to take your faith and surrender to the next level so that you can encounter His power in your weakness. Ask Him to show you what He wants from you, so that you can go to a new place in your relationship with Him.

“Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that is which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1-2 NASB

God has so much more for you.

Maybe you’re focused and faithful. You make Jesus the center of your life, and living your life on purpose for Him brings you much joy. You love Him and adore Him, and you have found great freedom and victory in walking with Jesus and doing all you can to show others His greatness. But you’re human and you get tired. You experience pain, struggle, and hardship just like everyone else. For you, God has more treasures to give you. As your Father in Heaven, He wants you to know more of His affection for you. He wants to lavish you with good gifts, and He wants you to know how much joy you bring Him. Don’t be afraid to ask Him for your heart’s desires. He wants you to share your whole heart with Him, even if it feels selfish.

“Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:24b NKJV

God has so much more for you.

Our God is so much more benevolent, generous, gracious, kind, good, and loving than we often give Him credit for.

Whatever state you may find yourself in, He is holding out His hands to you. And in His magnificent, powerful, tender hands are good things that exceed your wildest imaginations.

“But as it is written, What no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has conceived – God has prepared these things for those who love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 CSB

“Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.” James 1:17 NASB

It is up to you to reach out and receive from your Father. He has more to give you. So much more!
